2009-06-18 - $1m completition of Grote to Morphett St
ACC has adopted its 2009-2010 business plan and budget to find it. The process began back in February. Draft documents were produced and made available for public consultation. This was done more extensively than in previous years and ACC received over 50 submissions, a significant number received from Grote Business businesses. 12 people including GBP President Bill Marles and a Grote St business made verbal presentations to Council on May 28th. As a direct result a number of changes were made:
$1 completition of landscaping Grote Street from China Town and Central Bus Station to Morphett Street,
Reduced fees for some business licences and removal of licensing and fees for complying A-frames.
GPB thanks all members and supporters for their active participation in this process. It has achieved the desired outcome.
