Her Majesty's Theatre
Originally called the Tivoli, Her Majesty’s Theatre was built in 1913. The star on the opening night was British actor and lover of King Edward V11, Lillie Langtry. Today it hosts a variety of theatrical and musical performances. The theatre which seats 1009 people was acquired by the Adelaide Festival Centre Trust, which also operates the Festival Theatre and Dunstan Playhouse as well as several other smaller venues. Check local press for details on what is on.
