Adelaide Connector Bus
The Adelaide Connector Bus is a free service provided by the Adelaide City Council, featuring the little green solar powered bus everyone has been raving about "Tindo".
The service operates 7 days a week (except public holidays). Mondays to Thursdays it runs between 8am and 6pm, on Fridays between 8am and 9.30pm, on Saturdays and Sundays between 10am and 5pm.
Adelaide Central Bus Station
An initiative of the Adelaide City Council, the Adelaide Central Bus station features state-of-the-art bus transport facilities.
The bus station is located at 85 Franklin Street and is the home of Tindo, the world’s first solar powered electric bus.
The station houses solar panels which contribute solar energy to recharging Tindo. It also provides approximately 39 affordable housing units, urban spaces and a 550 space public car park.

The Adelaide FREE bus service
Adelaide Free bus service, operated by Adelaide Metro, runs 7 days a week taking in Adelaide's major attractions in the city including the Museum, State Library, Art Gallery, Royal Adelaide Hospital, Botanic Gardens, Rundle Street (East End), Tandanya, the Central Markets, the Hindley Street precinct and the Universities. The bus links with services for the O-Bahn, the Glenelg Tram and the Adelaide Railway Station.
After Midnight bus services
Adelaide Metro’s After Midnight bus service offers a safe, reliable and cost effective way home after a big Saturday night out. You can use your regular Adelaide Metro Multitrip ticket or purchase a single trip ticket onboard ($3.80 for Adults, $1.90 for Tertiary student/Concession) and travel as far as Moana, Gawler or Mount Barker!
After Midnight services operate both to and from the city, every hour from last regular service Saturday night, between 4am and 5am the next morning.
Students receive a 50-65% discount on tickets and you can get around the City centre for free on the two City Free bus routes.
