In 2007 Dean and Kathy Donovan celebrated 30 years of trading at 32 Grote
Street. Over the years some wonderful items have passed though their hands
and the Donovans have met some interesting and famous people. Locals and
tourists alike love finding a special something. Celebrity customers have
included Liberace, Tina Arena, John Wood, Julie Anthony, Ruth Cracknell,
Eric Bogle, Chris Sperou, Clive James, George Harrison, Tim Finn, Col
Joye,and Jill Collins (ex-wife of Phil).
The Donovans trade in most collectables, including vintage toys,
out-out-print books, jewellery, china, militaria, vintage clothing and
accessories. There is over 10,000 square feet of floor space to browse
through.
